October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month & we wanted to share some ways you can participate in this national campaign to bring awareness & support to this all too common cancer.
It’s estimated that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. Having received this same diagnosis myself a few years ago, I understand how traumatic this can be. The good news is that treatment & resources are readily available to you or your loved ones who dealing with this diagnosis. Early detection is crucial, so if you haven’t had a mammogram recently, I encourage you to talk with your doctor and follow through with recommended testing.
Below is a list of some national and local events that you can participate in. Be sure to notice our local event here in Murrieta on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Held at Town Square Park, it’s the 2019 Komen Inland Empire MORE THAN PINK WALK.
